Job description
We are looking for a Part-Time Night Auditor to join our team immediately. We’re looking for an ambitious, hardworking professional who loves to crunch numbers in between responding to guests' needs. The Auditor will be responsible for all EOD accounting functions and will need to communicate with the security team to ensure the safety of our guests. The agent assists with client care, daily tasks on managing the front desk, and customer service. The ideal applicant should be able to work autonomously with no one to assist him or her with basic functions (See responsibilities below).
Reports to: Front Office Manager
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival, check them in, and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay
Audit and balance reports from the day shifts
Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day
Verify that all EOD work has been performed by other departments
Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints as needed
Answers phones and place reservations
Run EOD computer functions so they are complete by the end of the shift
Prepare guest bills for next-day checkouts and process reservation cards
Balance cash drawers and record receipts
Facilitate the deposit of guests valuables in hotel safe
Employment and Skill Requirements:
Must have 2+ years of experience in hospitality or a similar field
Strong problem-solving and ex*****on skills. Operationally-minded.
Organized and detailed oriented
Able to work a flexible schedule
Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to write succinct messages and communicate clearly
Information technology skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and ability to learn company system
Punctual, courteous, detail orientated, meticulous, and reliable
French and English were written and spoken fluently
