I wondered where everybody had been!
This is good to know: It's ridiculous to have 259 friends and only 25 are allowed to see my post.
I ignored this post earlier, but It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed.
Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. Therefore,
Hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go your page, start a new post and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click paste.
This will bypass the system.
If you are reading this message, do me a favor and leave me a quick comment...a "hello," a sticker, whatever you want, so you will appear in my newsfeed! It WORKS!!
I gotta try it 🙂

After a busy spring , mostly dealing with Covid-19 fallout , we went ahead with 4 new structures. I think previously I may have referred to them as Leantoo’s.
But we have come up with their name - Cosy Cabins. They are small with a double bed and twin bunks. But have AC/heat. They are between the cabins and the Rv sites so are part of the action. They are not quite complete but will soon be. I have has requests for pictures so here they are.
We also built a gazebo for the weddings that were booked (but later postponed) or for any to enjoy.
Most of the groups that reserved last year for this year cancelled. Not all. But new reservations are coming. Contact us to see if we have availability that suits you.
Enjoy. Stay safe. Julie

Hi. Can't believe that I have some more news. We now have high speed wifi and a cell booster. I won't tell your kids and you can decide if you want to.
Thanks again to all who follow and support us.

Hi
Thought that it might be a good idea to give an update on availability for this summer.
What prompted this was a cancellation for August 14-15-16, 2020. So anyone thinking of a weekend reunion or gathering of any kind, this one will work.

I was not sure when the season would really get underway but I knew, when I had 3 inquiries for the May long weekend. So far only 1 cabin is booked for sure for then. The weekends after that to June13 open.
However all weekends starting June 20, excluding the above mentioned are booked until Sept 12. Some have just booked the Saturday which leaves the Friday open. And 3 weekends have only booked 4 Cabins so the other 2 cabins and, of course, our new lean-too's (4) are open. So if individuals are looking to stay, "there is room at the inn". Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Several Monday to Thursdays are booked. So if you are interested call me for available times. I think a mid week gathering works well for people who have to travel to attend and then return home.

Give it some thought. We are having such a good time meeting new people and making new friends.

Thanks

Hello.
"Bin" a long time since my last post.
Thank you to all for your continued interest and support.

We have been open for bookings this fall/winter to anyone who wanted the cool camping experience. Just had to turn up the heat!
We are a great place for a snow mobile group when there is snow. Maybe next year.

New News is that we are expanding.
This spring there will be 4 "lean-too"s. They are 8'x12' wooden structures that are fully finished inside and out, have power, a double bed and twin bunks. Design looks cute.
Also there will be a gazebo for our weddings or to just enjoy.

Unfortunately there is one last issue to address.
Recently Dennis (personally) was approached by email from a representative of a group called "Helping Our Northern Neighbors" (HONN). They are not a registered charitable organization and what they do and how they do it is not clear. Dennis refused to donate, giving his reasons. Their response was to attack "Bin There Campground" through "doesn't recommend" comments. None of them have ever been here and their comments are irrational and unfounded. Even called him a "racist"! Anyone who knows him/us knows that is absolutely outrageous. So read if you choose. But totally ignore.

Keep well until my next post (spring?)
