Congratulations Kenny, on your beautiful black bear!🏹 🐻

What a way to harvest your first bear…

They were hardly in the stand for 10 minutes and this big ole’ boar wandered in within 10 yards. Kenny took a deep breath and fired his cross bow to take down the first one of the season. With the help of his dad Derek, they got him out of the bush and back to camp to be cleaned up for the freezer.

We estimate this bear was around 265lbs live weight and had unique white markings on his chest. Kenny will be talking about this one for awhile✨

Lucas, Josh and Max are a handful of folks that have braved the trail to Lost Lake after the tornado of ‘22 flattened many of the big trees. It’s been a work in progress trying to re-open a path during the winter
