Welcome to Banting Memorial Park, a small, family oriented campground with a big heart and plenty to offer!

With fewer than 50 sites, you’ll enjoy a quiet, relaxed atmosphere whether you’re set up with 50 amp, 30 amp, or water only service. It’s the perfect place to unwind without missing out on the fun.

🏖️ Many of our guests come for our Florida-like beach, often called a hidden gem and something that truly has to be seen to be appreciated. One of Newfoundland’s best kept secrets, but we’re terrible at keeping secrets and this is one we want to share!

Here’s just a peek at what’s packed into our little gem:
🏖️ Kilometres of beautiful beach to explore
🥾 Scenic hiking trail
🐾 Pet friendly with treats and even a dog library
📚 Book exchange library for lazy afternoon reads
🎉 Weekend kids’ activities and family-friendly events all summer long
🪣 Beach toy library for added seaside fun
🌅 Beach benches & loungers perfectly placed for sunrise, sunset, and everything in between

🏛️ Don’t miss our Interpretation Centre while you’re here!

Right on site, you’ll also find Musgrave Harbour Amusements offering:
🚣 Paddle boats, kayaks and paddleboards
⛳ Mini golf
🍔 Takeout for those “no cooking tonight” days

We’re proud to offer accessible features too, including a wheelchair ramp, lookout, mobi mat and mobi wheelchair, helping everyone enjoy the beach.

And because Mother Nature likes to keep us guessing 🌦️, we’ve got a sun and rain shelter so the fun doesn’t have to stop!

When it’s time to freshen up:

🚿 Outdoor shower for sandy toes and day-use guests

🏕️ About our sites:
Our pond view sites are cozy and more open, creating that classic, friendly campground feel. Our beach sites are larger with a bit more room to stretch out. While none are fully private, the entire park offers a welcoming, community style layout.

We may be small, but we truly have something for everyone 💙

🎉 Well, we’ve been working hard to get the park ready, and here we are…….it’s finally here! 🎉

Tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM, our gate swings open for Banting Memorial Park’s 54th season!

So much has changed over the years, but one thing that has never changed is how much we value each and every one of our guests. It’s because of your support, loyalty, and countless memories made here that we are still going strong after 54 seasons.

You’re more than customers to us! you’re a very important part of the Banting family and our legacy. Whether you’ve been visiting for decades or this will be your very first summer with us, we are grateful to have you here.

To all of our returning Banting family, welcome back. To all of our new friends, it’s wonderful to meet you and we can’t wait to make memories with you.
