Lumina Resort A relaxed family resort located on beautiful Lake of Bays. Lumina is a family run resort nestled in the heart of Muskoka on beautiful Lake of Bays.

Our 250 acres of land hosts 37 cottages of sizes varying from 2 to 10 people. With over a mile of shoreline, our own private island, a safe sandy beach, 5 guest boat slips and a staff that treats you more like family than just a customer, Lumina is the perfect place to vaction. What a winter it has been on Lake of Bays!
We had to shovel nearly all of our 50 roofs because of the snow load. These banks are just from part of the main lodge roof.
Guy is hard at work on a major cabin reno and various other small ones throughout the property.
Spring is in the air today and the long melt has begun.
Looking forward to seeing you all this season!

Guess who I found down at the beach a couple of days ago. Santa! He was having a quick vacay before the big day. His little travelling companion , Rocky the Racoon, was about to paddle around Fire Island in his birch bark canoe. I told him to be careful, the water is very, very cold!
