Dehghan Wilderness Lodge The property is located at an elevation of 6,200 ft. on the south side of Midge Creek, some 15 miles east-southeast of Nelson.

It is 38 km south of Balfour near Kootenay Lake at Midge Creek. The original packhorse trail used by prospectors over 100 years Dehghan Wilderness Lodge is located on private land which Wisconsin and Lucky Strike Mines are located. It is on the top of the mountain surrounded by nature overlooking the largest conservancy project in Canadian history on one side, and a Provincial Park on the other.
