It’s been a hot minute since we’ve posted… We aren’t hosting short term rentals any more and have really enjoyed soaking up every inch of the property this summer.
Every year we tackle a project to improve the property. This summer we had to replace our septic system. 💩 It was a long process involving engineers 👷♀️, water mounding studies 💦 and a contractor for install. It’s safe to say we know far too much about septic systems now! 💩 🚽 🛁 💩
Unfortunately, we had to remove our beautiful cedar tree in the front yard. But we were happy to donate a large piece to the playground at Hume Elementary School in Nelson. 🌲 🪵 🛝
