Our hearts go out to the Westminster Hotel and the people of Dawson City who have tragically lost this iconic hotel to a fire yesterday. We have a strong connection to the Yukon Territory throughout our family history. Like the Hume, it was also built in 1898. We visited last month but unfortunately she was closed due to a January flood.

It was better known as The Pit which felt frozen in time with its true Gold Rush-era saloon atmosphere of crooked floors, old wood interior, live music and a reputation for wild Dawson nights.

They just don't make 'em like this anymore...💔

The Final Weekend has come. Here's a trip down memory lane to the Spiritbar's inaugural night on April 17, 2007 when The Freestylers were the first of many to take center stage.

Here's to all the heroic staff pictured here, over the years and present who have delivered for us time and time again.
