We are excited to introduce you to Tineke Reese! I met Tineke when I reached out to the Nelson community to see if any local artists would be interested in showcasing their work in our hallways and rooms. Tineke contacted me right away, and I was immediately struck by how stunning her photography was. I knew instantly that her art would bring warmth, beauty, and a real sense of place to our hotel. We’re also proud that all of her pieces displayed here are available for purchase, giving guests the opportunity to take a little piece of this beauty home with them.

Even though it’s not officially spring just yet, we are already dreaming about all the incredible adventures waiting just outside our doors! 🌿✨

From breathtaking landscapes and roaring waterfalls to peaceful forest hikes and scenic strolls, the beauty surrounding The Oak Hotel and Nelson is simply unreal. Fresh mountain air, towering trees, hidden trails, and those “stop-and-take-it-all-in” views. It’s all so close you can be on the trail within minutes!

Please take a minute to meet one of our extraordinarily talented artists that is showcased at The Oak HoteI , Bryn Stevenson. I met Bryn at Night Market 2 years ago by passing his booth while he painted. I knew instantly that I wanted his art in our hotel and after talking with him, was even more convinced by his soft welcoming nature. He is so incredibly talented so please take a look and if you see anything that you love, please come by, it’s all for sale!!
