The cure for loneliness might actually be solitude. Sounds backwards… but psychology calls it the solitude paradox. Ironically, the people most comfortable being alone often feel the least lonely. Solitude can reset your mind and emotions. I love people. But, I’m definitely that girl that needs solitude to regulate my nervous system.
Thank you to .newglasgow for the lovely gifted stay that allowed me to recenter and recharge!
