Nith River Campground Nith River Campground is the hidden jewel of Southern Ontario! It sits on the banks of the Nith Rive The hidden jewel of Southern Ontario! Are you a snowbird?

Doug and Mary Rielly Welcome you to the Nith River Campground. It sits on the banks of the Nith River, only 15 minutes from Waterloo and just north of the town of New Hamburg. There are 60 acres of open spaces, woodlands, and campsites along with one of the largest swimming pools in the area. Depending upon whether you prefer the sun or the shade, you can have your choice of a shady, treed site or an open sunny site. In addition, there is a large picnic pavilion available for family reunions, company picnics, weddings and church groups. We also have a catch and release fishing pond with some of the biggest bass, carp, perch and assorted other fish you can ever hope to hook. We are open from May 1 until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Our "snowbird" section is open until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Our social committee is very active in providing campers with activities ranging from Friday night movie nigh and Saturday night bingo to Halloween in the Park and Christmas in August.

Looking for a quiet, fun place to spend your summers? Nith River Campground is located 15 minutes drive from K-W, 20 minutes to Cambridge and Stratford, and 30 minutes to Woodstock. You can dress up for our annual Halloween party, fish in our pond, enjoy Saturday night bingo or decorate your site for our Christmas celebration. There is something going on just about every weekend for adults and children. We have the largest swimming pool in the area. No winter storage fees and use of the community centre for your birthday, anniversary celebration or family reunion.

As we near the end of every camping season, we host a thank you dinner for our seasonal campers. It is an opportunity for us to express our thanks to the amazing group of campers that we have. We often receive compliments from our weekenders about how friendly and helpful our seasonal campers are.
To those of you who volunteer to put on the events such as Christmas, Halloween, the childrens Penny Carnival, Saturday night bingos and long weekend breakfasts, childrens fishing derby and the many others a special thank you.

Are you searching for a quiet, shady campground? Nith River Campground is located a 15 minute drive from Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford and 30 minutes from Cambridge and Woodstock. It is 63 acres of trees, manicured grounds, colourful flower beds and sites on the banks of the Nith River. We have both 30 and 50 amp hydro service. You are welcome to use our community centre for birthday, anniversary and family reunions. We allow you to bring in your own trailer and do not charge winter storage.
