...so tomorrow...Friday July 24 - STAGE 3 of the reopening happens in NOTL. Restaurants are allowed inside dining with safe distancing in effect. The Town is inching it’s way back to normal. Next...we are hoping the Shaw Festival catches a break for reopening...will be dropping a lucky coin in Bernard’s fountain at The Shaw Cafe on our way by today! Right now they are hoping for mid September opening with 3 productions, restricted seating of course...let’s hope?

Shop the Outlet Mall, Pick up your favourite “vino” from your favourite winery, Heritage District restaurant patios are a...wait’n, golf our NOTL oldest’s course in North America & dine at in their patio (our favourite) overlooking the mighty Niagara as it empties into Lake Ontario, take a carriage ride through Old Town, bring your bikes or rentals available, PLUS...note NEW on trial our downtown shopping area is blocked off to pedestrian traffic on weekends only starting this weekend!! COVID-19 Niagara-on-the-Lake INN's - B&B's looking to restart the 2020 season in the near future. Province of Ontario has given the OK and we now await our Local Government to lift their
operational ban imposed on our Accommodations Sector for the past months...keeping our fingers crossed as we have Historic Davy House ready to operate under new normal guidelines keeping staff, guests and ourselves as safe as possible....stay tuned for the next update...

COVID-19 Update
Like most, it has our full attention and we are monitoring it's ever changing concerns.
It is critical we do our part to provide a safe & enjoyable environment for guests & staff.
You can be assured we will be doing everything possible to make your 2020 Davy House accommodations safe & enjoyable.

Please note our operational response to date in combating COVID-19:
1. Work Safe -No one comes to work if displaying any symptoms.
2. Personal Protection - Hand sanitizers & surgical gloves.
3. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
4. Social Distancing- eliminate hand shaking and good bye contact etc.
5. Increased sanitizing of all common areas.
6. Food Preparation - heightened handling awareness during all stages including purchasing, food prep, plating to serving morning gourmet breakfasts.
7. Continued assessment of all new information as it becomes available and implementing appropriate measures to further combat the COVID-19 virus.

It is a fine balance between action and over reaction.
Lets all do our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19.
