One of Ontario's most historic towns is opening its doors to the public this weekend.
Doors Open Niagara-on-the-Lake takes place Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visitors can explore 16 historic and cultural sites with free admission.
The program includes museums, old buildings, art spaces and locations connected to the community's long history.
Some of these places are not normally accessible to the public.
For Canadians who enjoy architecture, heritage and discovering the stories behind familiar streets, this is a special opportunity.
Sometimes history becomes much more interesting when you can step inside the buildings where it happened.

Highly recommend a lunch visit to enjoy Pharamcii at Stratus Winery..they are there Sat.,Sun. & Mon. from noon to 2:30pm….all I can say is YUMMY! :)
