Ian Bell, a Norfolk Treasure. Friday, while I was out capturing the day’s warmth and wind, I accidentally came across Ian Bell, sitting on his porch in Villa Nova, banjo in hand, a scene that feels like it belongs in a Canadian folk painting.

Born in Simcoe, raised in Waterford, and deeply rooted in the culture and history of southwestern Ontario.
Longtime curator of the Port Dover Harbour Museum until 2013.
Musical Career, active in the Canadian folk scene since the 1970s.
