Job Title: Bed & Breakfast Housekeeping Help

Location: 157 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake

We are a four-room/ 3 bath, boutique hotel styled B&B in a meticulously restored 1817 historic inn in Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience through unmatched comfort, thoughtful details, and outstanding service.

Position Type: Part-time seasonal and/or year-round

Hours: Flexible schedule, work your preferred hours (no weekends)

Compensation: Flat rate of $50-$70 per room, $25/hour for hourly work

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain guest rooms to high cleanliness standards
- Assist with light housekeeping and upkeep of common areas
- Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests
- Follow established procedures and maintain attention to detail

Requirements:

- Experience: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; training and a checklist will be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and clean small details to ensure a high-quality environment.
- Reliability: Dependable, punctual and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Availability: dependent on guest check-ins/outs

We're hiring! This position is perfect for someone looking to earn extra income (ie while working on their novel) or gain hospitality experience in a small yet high-quality setting:

Job Title: Casual Innkeeper

Location: 157 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake

We are a four-room, boutique hotel styled B&B in a meticulously restored 1817 historic inn in Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience through unmatched comfort, thoughtful details, and outstanding service.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate casual innkeeper to create a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for our guests during the innkeeper's absence from May 5th to 25th, 2026, and potentially two days a week thereafter until the end of October. (The B&B owner will be around to assist during this time, if necessary)

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented host who takes pride in providing excellent guest service and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Guest Experience: Greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and serve as the main contact to ensure a great stay.

Addressing any guest concerns with professionalism and urgency

Supervising cleaning staff, light housekeeping duties, and property maintenance.

Monitor and manage inventory, including linens, supplies and amenities, to ensure the B&B is fully stocked and operational

Food & Beverage: Prepare, present and serve a continental-style breakfast for 2 - 8 guests (no cooking is required; detailed instructions and menus will be provided).

Qualifications:

Previous experience in hospitality, B&B management, or a similar service industry is an asset but not essential.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask.

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic setting

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Offering $25 / hour plus a share of tips

Hours offered will depend on bookings; each breakfast prep/service lasts approx. 3-6 hours, with room prep/ check-in at approx. 2 hours. A detailed schedule will be provided and continuously updated.

Housekeeping positions are also available for those seeking additional hours.
