Since 1925, Camp Nominingue has been providing incredible summer experiences for boys from Montreal and around the world.

And just like that, the first session of the summer has come to an end! 🏕️☀️

It feels like only yesterday that campers were arriving, settling into their tent, and getting ready for the adventures ahead. Since then, the days have been filled with laughter, friendships, camp spirit, and memories that will last well beyond the summer. 🌲🔥

From Western Night 🤠 and the Primal Games 🏆 to instruction periods, canoe trips 🛶, section programs, Visitors’ Day, Council Ring, and countless moments in between, our campers truly made the most of every day.

Thank you to our incredible campers and staff for making the first session so special. We already miss the energy, the laughter, and the familiar faces around camp—but the summer is far from over! 🙌

Second session begins this Saturday, and we’re ready to welcome a new group of campers for another Nominingue adventure. Let’s do it all over again! 🏕️🛶🔥

The countdown continues: 21 days until the 101st season begins at Camp Nominingue! 🌲🛶

On Sunday, June 14th, our international staff will arrive at camp for the annual ORCKA training with the Ontario Recreational Canoe Kayak Association — an important step in preparing for another safe, exciting, and unforgettable summer on the water.

Later that week, on June 19th, our full staff team will arrive at camp to officially launch Staff Training Week! From the staff canoe trip to leadership, safety, programming, campcraft, and team building, this week helps bring our staff together before campers arrive on June 27th.

We can’t wait to welcome our staff team back to Nominingue and begin the final stretch toward the 2026 season! 🌲⛺🔥

The countdown to the 2026 season has officially begun: 26 days to go! 🌲⏳

Campers will be arriving at Camp Nominingue on June 27th, and we simply cannot wait to greet new campers, welcome back returning campers, and officially begin our 101st season! 🛶☀️

The first big step toward another unforgettable summer starts this Monday, June 1st, when the Work Camp crew will be on site, taking care of all the important jobs that bring camp back to life: sanding, painting, grass cutting, raking, tent building, bringing the canoes down to the docks, and much more. 🔨🎨⛺

Canoe tripping has always been at the heart of the Camp Nominingue experience. 🛶🌲

From a first overnight adventure to extended wilderness expeditions, our canoe trips allow campers to explore some of Québec’s most beautiful landscapes while developing independence, teamwork, and confidence.
Depending on their age, campers venture into the wilderness of Parc national de Papineau-Labelle and Réserve faunique La Vérendrye. 🌿

Trips begin with an overnight adventure for our youngest campers and can extend up to 10 days in the backcountry for our 15-year-olds. 🏕️

Portaging forest trails, paddling across quiet lakes, cooking over the fire, and sleeping under the stars — these are the moments that become lifelong memories. ✨🔥

Because we believe in the importance of making camps accessible and in the many benefits they bring to young people’s development, Camp Nominingue is proud to announce that we will be hosting Destination C.A.M.P. for summer 2026. 🏕️

What is Destination C.A.M.P.?
It’s a program offered by the Quebec Camp Association that provides financial support for a 2- to 4-week summer camp experience for youth aged 11 to 17.

The program helps make the camp experience possible for more families, allowing young people to enjoy adventure, friendship, and personal growth in nature.

Applications are open until March 16, 2026.
