We, at Upper Shunda are getting very excited to launch the 2026 camping season on May 01. I am busy taking reservations, and have been since February 01. Although Creekside is fully booked for May Long Weekend , sites are available in Loop A and Loop B. Please go to our website www.uppershundacampground.ca

Upper Shunda is preparing for another exciting camping season. Reservations for group sites and trailer rentals opens on January 15th, 2026. Opens for everyone else on February 01st . Please go to our website www.uppershundacampground.ca.

I thought today would be a good day for an update. It is hard to believe it is already the July Long Weekend! The campground is an exciting and busy place as the kids are out of school, and families are enjoying their time in Nordegg with so many activities to participate in. Eventhough the 2025 camping season is is in full swing there is still opportunity to book a campsite, or a stay in our on-site rental trailer. We have sites for big rigs, holiday trailers, and tents. Soon our new brochure will go to print. The NEW AREA FOR CYCLISTS AND MOTORCYCLISTS is officially launched and open. Please, if you are interested in making a reservation go to our website www.uppershundacampground.ca and complete and submit a reservation request form. Upper Shunda Creek Campground takes drop-ins if sites are available. The expectation is that many of the cyclists will be drop-ins, however these sites are reserveable.Our website is very comprehensive and is the best way to find out what we have to offer our campers. Upper Shunda Creek Campground is open for the 2025 camping season. Sites are available for tents, trailers, and big rigs. In addition we offer sites for cyclists and motorcyclists. Shunda Creek is pleased to offer an on-site trailer rental. In addition the Campground hosts a cute little store that sells basic camping supplies, goodies , personal care items, and handcrafted items. Check us out.

Upper Shunda Creek Campground is open for the 2025 season. We have RV and tent sites. For the first time we have sites for cyclists and motorcyclists. In addition we have a cute litte store with basic campground supplies and goodies as well as a holiday trailer rental. Check us out.

Happy New Year ! Thought it was a good time to jump on and give an update. Gordon and I are looking forward to operating the campground again this summer. At this time we are enjoying the winter in Arizona. In the last few days I have received many reservation requests for 2025. It is our plan to complete the setting up the 2025 reservation system this week. On January 15 I will start processing the reservation requests for large groups( exclusive use of Creekside Loop for weddings, camps, and family reunions), long stay campers(those who want to stay for a month or more) and trailer rental reservations. For all others I will start processing the reservation requests on February 01. Gordon and I send best wishes for a Happy New Year and are looking forward to seeing you this summer.
