🚨Longest kitty in the shelter🚨

Sound the alarms! Hardcore cat lovers unite! Rhiannon has been in the shelter 203 days, our current longest wait time! 🙀 I know what you’re thinking.. she’s gorgeous, she’s so incredibly unique.. what gives? Well she’s quite shy! She is a wallflower, she is constantly overlooked due to the other cats jumping in your face. Rhiannon was rescued with her babies this summer. She kept them alive outside and once rescued they were all adopted instantly. Nowadays she’s happy enough to be an indoor kitty with cozy beds and refilling food dishes but she hasn’t even experienced the real “good life.” 🥹 Doesn’t she deserve the real good life?? Yes. Rhiannon will let us pet her but not long and makes a face about it. 😝 She is a cat who would take a lot of convincing to bond with but it can be done. She is used to being on her own, fending for herself and not needing anyone. A cozy, quiet home could totally change her mind. She is estimated 2 years young - spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, fully vetted. Her fee is discounted thanks to our friend Darrell who has sponsored half! She gets along great with other cats, you seriously don’t know she’s in the room. Anyone interested in her should be prepared to have a kitty who may never cuddle but will peacefully coexist.. but then again she may also surprise you!

ON TRIAL

✨ Meet Mya – our sweet senior girl looking for her furever home ✨

Mya was recently surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own, and now she’s ready for her next chapter. She’s approximately 14 years old, weighs about 35 lbs, and is an absolute sweetheart.

Don’t let her age fool you — Mya is pretty active for a senior and enjoys going for walks. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with other dogs and appears to get along well with canine companions. She’s settled in nicely, but what she really wants is a cozy home to call her own.

Mya is food-motivated and enjoys enrichment activities that involve snacks. She’s also a big fan of bum scratches — seriously, they’re her favorite ❤️

She will be spayed (as recommended by the vet) and fully vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adopting a senior dog like Mya is one of the kindest and most selfless things a person can do. Seniors have so much love to give, ask for so little in return, and make the most loyal, grateful companions.

Boy do we have a good boy for you! 🙀
Conway is a 14 month old Cane Corso (not registered) who is looking for a home through no fault of his own. He may look familiar he was adopted from the SPCA but unfortunately the home has had a change in circumstances. They loved him dearly and had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Conway is still a puppy (birthday August 10 2024) but has had all the hard puppy work done. He knows basic commands and tricks as well. He’s kennel trained and loves his kennel (comes with him) as it’s his bed/safe place. He will often lay in it with the door open. Conway is good with other dogs, cats and children providing they’re able to handle his size. He wouldn’t hurt a fly but is also a huge moose! 🫎 Weighing well over 100 pounds. Conway is looking for a strong, dedicated owner who has experience with large breeds. They aren’t for everyone but large breed lovers know how big (literally & figuratively) their hearts truly are. Conway only wants to love and be loved, forever! 🥹❤️
