Motel Chelsea recherche une personne responsable et mature pour son poste de femme/valet de chambre. Minutieuse et soucieuse du détail, elle/il a à cœur de soigner les détails. Le poste est à pourvoir pour 20 à 25 heures par semaine, du jeudi au lundi en journée. La rémunération est à la hauteur de l'expérience et comprend 50 % de réduction au restaurant, 25 % de réduction à la boutique et deux nuits offertes par an dans notre motel de charme.

The Salt Cellars est un duo canadien d’auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes originaire de Maynooth, en Ontario, fondé en 2016 par Virginia deCarle (chant, composition) et Rob Bersan (chant, guitare, composition). Les Grievous Angels ont parcouru un long chemin au cours de ces trois décennies : deux nominations aux prix Juno et d’innombrables concerts à leur actif. Ils viennent de sortir leur 10e album, Revolution. C’est une bande originale de la résistance à une époque marquée par l’incertitude.

Le son des Angels s’articule autour des compositions authentiques de leur leader, Charlie Angus. Ses chansons capturent la beauté tragique de la vie dans les avant-postes ouvriers du Grand Nord canadien.

L’Edmonton Journal a un jour écrit qu’Angus chantait « plus plat qu’une route de terre en Saskatchewan ». Mais c’était un compliment. Le journal ajoutait : « Un jour, ses chansons seront au même niveau que celles d’Ian Tyson, de Stan Rogers et de Gordon Lightfoot. »

The Grievous Angels have covered a lot of ground over their three decades - two Juno nominations and countless gigs played. They have just released their 10th album Revolution. It is a soundtrack of resistance in an age of uncertainty.

The Angels sound is built around the gritty songwriting of band leader Charlie Angus. His songs capture the tragic beauty of life in Canada’s northern blue collar outposts.

The Edmonton Journal once said that Angus sings “flatter than a dirt road in Saskatchewan.” But they meant it as a compliment. They added that “one day his songs will rank up there with Ian Tyson, Stan Rogers and Gordon Lighftoot.”

The Angels show up ready to play. They leave nothing in the tank by the time they are done.
