Once more we are surrounded by fires. With the long dry and especially hot weather this is inevitable. At the B&B we are very safe from any of the existing fires and the smoke is not to bad at this time. We retreat to the house for breakfast if conditions are bad . Winery's are still open and allowing you to sample the goodness of the valley. Half corked marathon is on again this year which is alway a special time in the fall. The lakes are still refreshing and we are almost back to normal.

We are still here ! It has been tough the past year and I suspect it will remain so. Debbie and I opened one room only to not only keep us safe but our guests as well. It was a busy summer with wonderful guests who respected the new restrictions and visited many of our winery’s. So as directed local visitors only till end of May this year, we will miss all our European friends and a good chance our Albertans as well.
So stay safe so we may all visit in the near future.

We will be open starting June with a few new protocols in place to ensure our safety as well as our guests. Only one room is open at a time unless people are traveling togeather.
Breakfasts are a buffet style now to maintain distances. There will be less social interaction with our guests than before just to be on the safe side. We will visit but at the distance required. Hope to find you all safe and healthy.

What a difference 10 days make, because of this on going medical pandemic and my compromised condition Debbie and I have shut down the Bed and Breakfast till the end of May. The guests that had booked April and May have almost all canceled with in the last two weeks and the remainder have cancelled with our request. On a positive the area winery's are closed for tasting but are doing drive by pick ups and shipping free of charge. It will be a lonely summer but there will be many more to enjoy.
