Annette and I are headed out for a bike ride as we make an effort to get back into shape. Not easy but with intermittent fasting, proper eating and exercise it’s a great start for us. When you stay at North Frontenac Escapes, bring your bike or ATV/side by side and we can show you around.

Thank you to the folks who have chosen to follow our page, in the times we find ourselves in, getting back to nature in peace and private is sometimes all that is needed to recharge and find inner peace. Thank you for being part of our journey. With your support, our community has grown to over 400 followers, and we’re truly grateful to have you here. As we continue to grow—especially with more time to dedicate following retirement—we’re excited to begin sharing more of what makes North Frontenac Escapes special.
We’re currently exploring a number of new experiences designed to enhance your stay and bring people closer to nature, to each other, and to unforgettable moments. While these ideas are still in development, here’s a glimpse of what we’re working on:

I would like to thank the new members for joining our FB page and those who have been with us for quite some time. Thank you!
The last couple of weekends, we had guests stay who took advantage of what the area has to offer and took in the fall colours. A sanction off road group ride over the Thanks Giving long weekend and another couple hiked a trail that brought them to a lookout where Cononto Lake and Palmerston Lake could be seen. So much outdoor activity to take in if you look for it.

🍁 Welcome Back from North Frontenac Escapes! 🍁

There will be more consistency in posts going forward — life had me focusing on recovery after two knee replacement surgeries (left in 2024 and right in 2025). I’m thrilled to share that I’m finally back on my feet and feeling good again!

To celebrate, I wanted to share some beautiful photos from last fall — captured by a couple who explored the nearby trails on their ATV. Within just a 30-minute ride, they discovered a few stunning lakes and made the most of their stay here at North Frontenac Escapes.

They truly embraced our motto:
“Where Romance, Relaxation, and Adventure await you.”
Because as we like to say — couples who play together, stay together!
