As we head into fall, I just wanted to say that we had a fantastic group of Guests stay at our cottage over this summer. While it certainly wasn't the best, weather-wise, we were thrilled to have such wonderful families enjoy our little home-away-from-home. We sure would love to see photos of your stay, so please feel free to share them here! We are accepting bookings for the 2018 Summer season so please let us know what dates we can pencil in for you!

One of our guests from earlier this summer created this beautiful work of art for the cottage. It will soon be prominently displayed in the dining room! We really do have the best guest!

Plevna is now home to the Shamrock Bakery offering a small selection of sweets, jams and pickles. I'm told they also offer take out dinners on Thursday through Sunday. Ironically, they are housed in what was once the Plevna landmark James General Store, home and family run business of my husbands family from the '60's to the early 90's. Something for guests to keep in mind.

We've not had much success in either of our visits. Unfortunately, we've encountered issues with both customer service (the lady who greeted us was, shall we say, less than friendly) and quality (badly burned date squares were discovered in our bag once we reached the cottage). However, this might just have been our bad luck and not a forecast of visits by others.
