Here is a list of all the winners from the Spratley boat raffle we were part of. Congratulations to all the winners and a big thanks to all that participated. The money raised will help fund the community projects endeavored by the Fishing Hwy 24 tourism association

As the water cools down, the rainbow fishing is heating up. Kokanee fishing is still good as well.

Wow! What great weather we have, all the way into the beginning of October. Warm sunny days, cool evenings. Great fall camping, fishing, hiking, and sitting around weather. If you missed out this summer because of the fires/smoke, there is still time to reconnect with nature and enjoy the outdoors. We will be open well into October, past Thanksgiving, and longer if the weather holds and the phone keeps ringing. See you soon?!

We've heard a lot of people say this summer, it's just not camping without a campfire. This area never really went above moderate for a fire hazard, so it's not suprising that the fire ban will be rescinded as of noon Sept 3. If you need to get a last campfire in before getting back to the grind, give us a call!

4 beauty Koks caught this morning. They are fatter that previous years, but more interesting is they aren't turning red yet. Their scales aren't coming off, but this appears to be a late year for the spawn to start. And here we are with space in the resort for the next few weeks. Need a fishing fix? Give us a call! Due to an increased awareness and consciousness of Air Quality, we have purchased an air quality monitor which uploads every 10 minutes onto the Purpleaire.com website. Our area, being on a plateau, often has much better air than valleys and other areas where smoke gathers. Over the last 10 years we have experienced many instances where people with reservations have called up to cancel because they fear the air quality in our area due to some random social media post or worst case scenario TV broadcast that does nothing to comfort those with breathing issues. We now have the science, on location, that will show you precisely what to expect when you arrive at Hathaway Lake. We sincerely hope that this will put to rest any concerns our customers, new or old, might have regarding the air quality in our area. If you call, and we tell you the water is great, the fishing is fantastic, and the air is clear, we will be able to back up at least one of those statements with science.
