Sundance Chief and Elder Calvin Pompana is from Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, Manitoba. He is a 10 year Residential School Survivor at Brandon, MB & Portage la Prairie, MB and served in the Canadian Navy for 10 years.
Calvin Pompana is the President of the White Buffalo Spiritual Society and Traditional Story Teller – he carries the prophecy of the White Buffalo Calf Spirit Woman. Calvin conducts sweat lodges, pipe ceremonies, healing circles, talking circles and sacred circles.
