Saturday night, the boardwalk at Osoyoos Desert Centre turned into one of the best dinner tables in the valley.

The Watermark culinary team led one of the tasting stations on the guided tour circuit, cooking and serving guests right there in the desert in the golden evening light.

Proceeds from Romancing the Desert support the Osoyoos Desert Centre's ongoing work to protect and restore one of Canada's most fragile ecosystems.

We were honoured to sponsor a night that shows off this landscape at its best. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it one to remember.

There are no province-wide travel restrictions in place at the moment, and Osoyoos remains outside the current evacuation zone. Conditions in the region can shift quickly, so we recommend checking current updates for the South Okanagan and your route before you travel.

Our hearts go out to the communities of Summerland, Peachland and all those who have been displaced by the Bald Range wildfire.

We have donated sheets, towels and blankets to evacuees in Penticton and are working with ESS daily to support anyone in need.

Watermark Beach Resort and all our amenities are fully open. We have space to accommodate guests and evacuees, with special evacuee rates available. Our accommodations include full kitchens and en-suite laundry.
