Moose Creek Regional Park Authority This page officially represents Moose Creek Regional Park, including a full-service campground on treed land on the eastern shore of the Alameda Dam.

Moose Creek Regional Park is situated approx. 3 km N of the Alameda Dam on the eastern shore of the 18 km long reservoir, which is a popular spot for ice fishing and snowmobiling in winter. The full-service campground and 9-hole golf course are open in summer.

MCRP Water Issues

We understand there has been some speculation regarding the current water issues.

We have confirmed multiple frost-related line issues throughout the park. To help provide transparency, we are posting videos showing running water in certain sections of the system. This demonstrates that the system itself is operational, but isolated sections of underground line are still being affected by frost conditions.

Our staff are checking lines daily, troubleshooting problem areas, and doing everything possible to restore consistent service as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, underground frost can create intermittent and difficult-to-locate issues, especially during unusual seasonal conditions.

🚧 Waterline Update 🚧

We are continuing to experience waterline issues in multiple areas throughout the park due to ongoing frost conditions underground.

Staff are inspecting the lines daily and working hard to keep services running as smoothly as possible. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while Mother Nature decides to cooperate a little more. ❄️➡️☀️

For the time being, the best temporary option is to run a hose from an adjacent site to fill your holding tank until water service is restored to your site.

Update: Any Seasonal Sites without water: seems the lines are still froze.. Mother Nature will fix this.
📌 Boat Docks: will be installed in due process. Repairs are required.
