We are deeply moved by the overwhelming love and support shown at our mother’s memorial at the farmer’s market. Seeing so many of her cherished customers and fellow local farmers gather to honour her memory meant the world to our family. She poured her heart into organic farming and this community, and your presence, stories, and kind words truly celebrated the beautiful legacy she left behind. Thank you for standing with us and for loving her as deeply as we did.

To honour our mother's memory, we are holding a private celebration of life for family. While we know she was deeply loved by many in the community, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate everyone. We kindly ask that you respect our family's privacy and wishes during this difficult time, and we thank you for your understanding.

Do you like Agriculture, enjoy gardening? Mountain Springs Organic Farm is looking for "Farm Hand Helper" this is a temporary on-call position. From April to October, you will work with the Farm owner and assist with the organic garden.

Mountain Spring Organic Farm creates resilient, affordable, certified organic products for community .The ideal person is comfortable and enjoys working outdoors, and is interested in organic agriculture and Food Security.

Our organic farm is thriving with a field-to-fork journey with sustainable practices in mind.

Task and Responsibilities
~ Enjoy being physically active, fieldwork to support the general garden and small farm maintenance.
~ Support the farm owner during the Saturday farmers’ market.
~ Assist in harvest of berries and veggies as needed.
~ Have experience or interest in organic agriculture

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an outdoor environment.
~ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
~ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
~ Physically mobile, able and willing to move through various outdoor work environments.
~ Able to lift max. 40 lbs and digging in the garden
~ Work with diversity and inclusive approaches
~ Have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license

Start date: May 2025
Paid: BC minimum hourly wage. Hours are typically 3 days a week with occasional weekends. Flexibility in hours of work is to be agreed upon with the farm owner.
