Meet Srija 🤍 | Lodge Manager
If you’ve spent some time at Chute Lake Lodge, chances are you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Srija, our Lodge Manager and one of the wonderful people who helps keep everything running behind the scenes.
Originally from India, Srija moved to Canada about six years ago. With a background in software engineering and a Master’s in Business, her career took an unexpected turn when she realized what she truly enjoyed most was working with people. Before joining us at Chute Lake, she also gained valuable management experience as an Assistant Manager at Walmart.
Srija describes herself as passionate, hardworking, happy and positive — and her team would absolutely agree.

Those closest to her describe her as level-headed, hardworking and someone who genuinely cares about the people she works with. She loves cooking for others and bringing people together around good food — something that fits pretty perfectly with lodge life.
When she’s not working, Srija loves taking spontaneous little road trips around B.C., relaxing at home, playing Minecraft and enjoying the quieter things in life. While she may not consider herself a big outdoor adventurer, she has a deep appreciation for nature, peaceful mornings and evenings around a campfire.
What she loves most about Chute Lake is its rich KVR history, rustic character and the feeling you get when you arrive somewhere truly special.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Srija leading our team and helping make Chute Lake Lodge feel like the welcoming, one-of-a-kind place it is. 🌲🤍
