Our Story

Villa Magnolia is a beautiful vacation Guest House in an ideal location on the Naramata Bench. Villa Magnolia is run by Anna and Alan Gove, two people who love the Okanagan and have made it their home. Anna is an Interior Designer and Graphic Designer, and also the Editor of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s program magazine. Alan is the former VP of Marketing for the Vancouver Symphony, and is a WSET-trained wine geek. Villa Magnolia Guest house offers 3 separate luxury couples-only suites, each with a private entrance. All suites have the same spectacular lake view and large private deck space. 'The Perch' and 'The Roost' each feature a kitchenette, while 'The Nest' contains a living room, full gourmet kitchen, and barbecue. All three suites have Wifi and are stocked with luxurious robes, toiletries, gourmet coffee and teas, HD televisions, dining areas, and high-end appointments. Common space at Villa Magnolia includes a lawn with Adirondack chairs. ............................................................................................. THE NEST at Villa Magnolia is newly renovated and largest of the suites in the Villa. It boasts a charming fully equipped kitchen with a gas range and a everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. The suite has a large bathroom with a freestanding soaker tub and large walk in shower, a large living room with High Definition television, and an indoor as well as outdoor dining area. The suite is also equipped with a bbq on the deck. This is a couples suite but can be combined with the Roost to accommodate 2 couples . Both suites are on the same level of Villa Magnolia so the living and deck space can be accesses by both suites if rented together. Please note the cost is as posted for each suite individually. This is a self-catered suite with a private entrance, and includes complimentary gourmet coffee and teas, and high-end toiletires. ............................................................................................ THE ROOST at Villa Magnolia is a newly renovated, luxurious, master suite on the lower level with a spectacular view of Okanagan Lake. This spacious suite is fitted with a king size bed and a beautiful en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower. A quaint coffee station with a coffee maker, toaster, kettle and mini fridge has everything you need to get you started in the morning for your day of wine touring, paddle boarding, hiking, biking or just kicking back and taking in the amazing view. Your private deck area is perfect for morning coffee with dining for two or relaxing on the loungers. This is a couples suite but can be combined with the Nest to accommodate 2 couples . Both suites are on the same level of Villa Magnolia so the living and deck space can be accesses by both suites if rented together. Please note the cost is as posted for each suite individually. Equipped with a kitchenette, featuring coffee maker, toaster, kettle, mini fridge, and sink. Your private deck area is perfect for morning coffee or a bottle of wine in the evening. This is a self-catered suite with a private entrance. 'Legends' Craft Distillery is also on your walking route from Villa Magnolia, and is a great place for weekend brunch or evening cocktails.
