Happy Earth Day 🌱

This little ecosystem is the pride and joy of our resort.

Take a stroll along the lakeside boardwalk and you’ll discover our natural riparian habitat stretching along the shoreline. As you enjoy the view, you’re likely to spot a variety of native species, including western skinks, loons, beavers, and the Bufflehead and Hooded Merganser ducks. If those names sound familiar, you’re right—we’ve named two of our restaurants after these remarkable birds.

On the patio of the Hooded Merganser restaurant, you’ll not only enjoy an unobstructed view of Okanagan Lake—cradled between mountains and stretching 136 km up the valley—but also dinner and a show. With a front-row seat overlooking the marina, you can watch ospreys perched high above, swooping and diving to catch fish and other prey.
