Darrell didn’t waste many words but the ones he used always seemed to land just right...and usually followed by a little smirk or that quiet laugh.

He loved his family deeply, and he loved being a "Papa", never missing a chance to share a story about the boys with all of us. You could find him enjoying the simple things, time with his family, a ride in the side-by-side, or on the porch having one of Connie's treats.

Steady, kind, and loved by all. After 22 years, we're not sure we know how to "summer" without you, Darrell. We're going to miss you beyond measure.

To our Camping Family,

As the end of the season approaches, our hearts are full. From Pancakes & Pyjamas to late night campfires and the hilariously fun Mrs. Roper Romp, this summer was pure joy because of each of you.

Thank you for the kindness you show your neighbours, your patience on busy weekends, all of the “need a hand?” moments, and the way you welcome new campers like old friends. You all make this place so much more than just a campground. We appreciate you more than words can say.

The campground might be getting quieter but we’re hoping you’ll squeeze out the best of the remaining days. Thank you for an amazing summer!
