It's been an amazing summer in Prince Edward County. And right now the farm stands are overflowing with beautiful vegetables and crisp fall fruits. Every morning we are blessed to be able to celebrate the local growers and food purveyors we call our neighbours by serving dishes like these to our guests.

There's just something about heirloom tomatoes grown in The County that taste particularly awesome! Serving all colours, shapes and sizes as long as Vicki Emlaw and Hagerman Farms keep'em coming! 🍅🍅🍅🍅

Do you know where the big-red-mailbox-asparagus-stand is in The County? Hint: road name rhymes with "bridge".
Every year, like clockwork, Doug Schofield ties his white ASPARGUS arrow sign to his mailbox and we all know it's spring in The County!
Do yourself a favour, pick up a few bags from his self-serve stand and you'll never have tasted asparagus as delicate and sweet as these!

Some highlights from these past 2 days of brunches at The Wilfrid.

1. Cuttlefish arancini with tarragon and wild leek mayonnaise, capers and sweet biquino peppers.
2. Broccolini in cherry tomato tombée sauce and goat feta.
3. Organic salmon sashimi, toasted sesame nori and .dallamore morel garum and pickled spruce tips.

Not picture: viennoiseries, yoghurt, fresh fruit, homemade granola, homemade jams, local honey, duck miso ramen, zucchini and foraged greens salad, radicchio, parmesan and wild greens salad, Natas with labneh and moringa powder.

Every morning is unique. Just like the guests who walk through our door 🥰
