A few shots from the shore tonight ... the last pic, Rush is looking for a water snake after yesterday when he spent about 15 minutes chasing one in the water and actually caught it out in deep water ... he thinks he can do that every day now.

Hello all followers. I am sorry to say that I feel I will no longer rent the cottage as a short term accommodation to vacationers. With the recent covid pandemic, I have not rented it short term since 2019 for safety reasons of those of us having to clean it between tenants, and the safety of the renters. The County has also now implemented a license needed for me to be able to rent out my own property in an STA fashion, and they will inspect the property regularly for it to comply with a set of regulations they decide upon (I am concerned that "palm greasing" may occur or be requested in this situation). The cottage made very little above the expenses of owning it considering the amount of work it is renting out to different groups of vacationers every week, and now the county wants more of that cut ... so I have decided I will not purchase the license or allow the county more control of my property, thus I will no longer rent in an STA fashion.

Hello all ... I am sorry to say that due to the covid-19 situation I am cancelling all bookings for this summer season and not accepting any bookings at this time. I have noticed a significant influx of people for this holiday weekend into the county from elsewhere. I do not agree that the county should be inviting tourists and seasonals in this summer considering a significant percentage of our local population is elderly ... I will do my part, and take the financial hit, to protect the residents of the county.
