Nice to see foot traffic down on the Harbour. Young, older, tourists , locals. I can’t say I was in agreement to the change in traffic flow or the removal of parking but there seems to be more foot trail. Out of their cars spending money, can’t wait to see the new wharf open. Just think 80 holes in the water : hopefully some of that cash going into our local economy.
We do need to get more signage and markings for parking will increase parking spots and get even more folks spending their money in our home.

The Bluenose II is a beautiful sailing ship!

The Hector here in Pictou is also beautiul.
Re-built here and "splashed" here. Well worth a visit back in time.

On this day in 1963, Bluenose II was launched. It was built to the original plans of the Bluenose and under the consultation of Bluenose captain Angus Walters.
Today, Bluenose II is a sailing ambassador and promotional device for Nova Scotia

Pictou Lobster Carnival is on it's last day today for 2026! Much cooler today :)

Thanks to everyone who organized, volunteered, helped or came to enjoy the Carnival. It was great to see so many children, family and folks laughing, being outside and having fun!!

A special thankyou to St Johns Ambulance for being here and caring for anyone who needed them. We appreciate you!!
