We truly appreciate all the love and support you’ve shown our Pictou Lodge Food Truck during our very first season! ❤️ It has been so wonderful serving our guests, locals, families and visitors throughout the summer.

As we head out of peak season and into our shoulder season, we’ll be reducing our hours.

📅 New Hours for our FOOD TRUCK:
Thursday • Friday • Saturday • Sunday
⏰ 12 PM – 7 PM

Taphouse open Daily for beverages from 11am - 4pm and Bar service begins 4pm - 9pm !

Our season will wrap up with the Food Truck, Main Lodge and Taphouse closing end of day on September 27th !

WE DID IT AGAIN!

Just like we restored the Winnie, we’re incredibly proud to announce that this year we were not only able to restore ONE unit… but TWO!

As a tribute and in loving memory of Joann, we are so excited to introduce The Joann — Units A, B & C — now available for booking! 💐

These units are truly a labour of love, made possible by so many people who have poured their time, energy and heart into bringing them back to the Pictou Lodge property.

We’ve created something that is modern, comfortable but still rustic, while still keeping the history and character of the Lodge alive. Inside, you’ll find new pieces alongside old photographs and furniture items we’ve been fortunate enough to save from the Lodge over the years.

The Taphouse menu just got a little more Cape Breton!

We’ve updated our rotating beverage lineup, and the newest arrivals are bringing some serious local flavour — Big Spruce Brewing and Island Folk Cider House, both from Cape Breton! 🍺🍎

Come grab a cold one in the Taphouse, or take it outside and enjoy your drink on the patio with an ocean view. Because apparently beverages taste better when you can see the water. 🌊

And don’t forget — the food truck is open daily, so grab a bite, grab a drink and settle in for some good old-fashioned East Coast patio time.

We are so happy to announce that The Winnie (Units A & B)—one of our original two-unit rustic cottages—is once again available for booking. 🏡

Named in honour of Winnie, this special cottage is more than just a place to stay. It also represents the history, memories, and traditions that have made Pictou Lodge a beloved destination for generations of families. 🌺

Following the devastation of Hurricane Fiona, restoring our remaining original cottages became a labour of love. Our team has worked tirelessly to preserve their rustic charm while ensuring guests can enjoy the comfort and beauty of Pictou Lodge for years to come. Today, we’re honoured to welcome families back to create new memories in a place that has meant so much to so many.

The Winnie (Units A & B ) includes:

Creating unforgettable family memories is what we’re all about at Pictou Lodge!

This Friday, July 31st our Taphouse will be closed to the public as we celebrate a special private event. We love being part of life’s biggest moments and helping families and friends create memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support while we host this celebration.

🍻 The Taphouse will reopen on Saturday morning, with bar service beginning at 4:00 PM. We can’t wait to welcome you back for cold drinks, and another beautiful day by the water!
