A beautiful SteelHead and a Proposal! Ted Williams is always our first guest of the season and the last in October and he enjoyed the solitude of the river with Brody and some beautiful fish. Jacob Johns surprised his sweetie with the first proposal on the river! We are now gearing up and getting the lodge ready for a new season! How fast did winter go!? Happy Holidays from all of us here in the Pitt River Valley! Thanks to all of our repeat and new guests we had a busy, busy season and are now enjoying some down time. These wonderful photos are from cameras that are set up, that our friend Nick Didlick is kind enough to share with us. Wonderfully remote yet easily accessible by boat or air, Pitt River Lodge offers a premier wilderness fishing experience. Due to a recent cancellation Oct 31- Nov 2nd is now available and is the last weekend we are open this season. Fishing wore little Lenna from Germany out..the family spent 6 days on the river enjoying the spectacular fishing and scenery..I think she is the youngest we have had in the raft, ever! We specialize in guided raft trips on the upper Pitt River where the scenery is incredible, remote and truely isolated. We are so fortunate to be part of peoples special events! The upper Wilderness Lodge, perfect for groups of 6-8 isolated and remote overlooking the river below, and the main Pitt River Lodge for groups of every size. Were else can you go to get this? The upper Pitt River is home to a variety of species and guests from around the world come and enjoy the river and the outdoors.
