I Don’t share a lot of stuff on Facebook but this one I had to. Last year Pat came to hunt with us for first time and told me I’ve been hunting a lot of years for bears but I want a really really big one I’m after my biggest bear ever and I’m not taking anything other than a monster well Friday came and we where down to the last day of his hunt and he did just that an absolute trophy of a lifetime steps out and harvested a giant black bear 21 3/16. Now fast forward to this year Pat comes back for another visit and says you no what Mark I want to try get a chocolate one this year he said I no there no way I’ll ever get a bear bigger than last year I just want a nice sized chocolate one. I said well never say never sir but deep down I knew the chances where slim but I told him I got just the bear for ya but it ain’t gonna be easy he’s an old giant that I have alot of history with him and he’s a smart sucker. Well Friday was here and we where in a Last day magic situation again but at 835 Pat calls and in I go I looked at this giant on the ground that he just harvested what a beautiful bear 21 5/16 chocolate 2 years in a row for Pat congratulations sir that’s a bear of 100 lifetimes. It’s Our biggest chocolate we have ever harvested at Big Spruce Outfitting.
