Lyle House is a historical home built almost 200 years ago in the village of Port Clyde, on the southwest shore of Nova Scotia. The house itself overlooks the Clyde river with a view of the old train truss,which is now a walking trail. There is water access on both sides of the property used for kayaking and swimming. The stone house is believed to have been built in the late 1700 and still functi

on as a storage shed. One room is on the main level overlooking the Clyde river and has a queen size bed . The other 2 rooms are up stairs one overlooks the Clyde river and the other is on the back side of the house,both have double beds. The rooms are decorated with antiques and the floors are the original plank flooring. With the exception a modern bathroom and kitchen the house has maintained its charm with many of its original features.
