We offer fully-serviced sites (30 AMP) with municipal water and sewer. We have 180 seasonal sites and 30 overnight sites.

What a perfect evening at Shore Acres Park! Campers enjoyed an incredible Birds of Prey show with the beautiful Lake Erie view as the backdrop last weekend.

Park Manager Joanne captured some great videos from the evening, and we couldnā€™t resist sharing a few highlights! A big thank you to the Canadian Raptor Conservancy for such a fun and memorable experience at the lake!

Summer is still going strong at Shore Acres Park, and so are our Thursday night euchre games! Campers of all skill levels are welcome to join us for some fun and friendly competition every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. through the end of September. Admission is just 50 cents. Oohs and aahs could be heard from amazed Shore Acres Park Campers of all ages when a representative from the Canadian Raptor Conservancy visited our beautiful campground. The majestic raptors put on a remarkable show as campers learned about hawks, kestrel falcon, bald eagles and owls, along with raptorsā€™ habitat and special hunting abilities. Shore Acres Park Campers: Itā€™s always a kick to see overnight campers use their welcome gift of a postcard to memorialize their thoughts about our beautiful park. Overnighter campers Jim & Anne have camped at Shore Acres for many years and write, ā€œAnother great stay at the park! Thank you, Deb, for the warm welcome. Shore Acres Park Campers: A beautiful August morning with not a cloud in the sky, a slight breeze, a balmy 24 Celsius and a lone busker strumming a familiar tune on his guitar. Does a stroll along downtown Port Doverā€™s Main Street get any better than this? From fresh bread to cheese, British goods, fresh pickerel and attractive apparel, our quaint harbour town has plenty to offer campers. Be sure to take in the sights and sounds of our little fishing village sometime soon.

Campers on Shore Acres Parkā€™s Perry Street recently donned leis, grass skirts and colourful shirts, sipped Hawaiian punch, decorated their sites with pineapples, palm trees and flamingos, and played Hawaiian-inspired games before sitting down to a mouth-watering potluck dinner during Hawaiian Bingo Potluck Day. Itā€™s that renowned, wonderful camper camaraderie at its very best! Thanks to Seasonal Camper Angie for the photos.

Shore Acres Park campers... tomorrow is shaping up to be one exciting Saturday at the park! From costumes and candy to cheesecake and incredible birds of prey show - Saturday, August 29 has something for everyone to enjoy.

Weā€™re kicking things off with Halloween in the Park from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Get ready to see Shore Acres take on a spooky new look as decorated campsites set the scene and trick-or-treaters make their way through the park in search of sweet treats. Trick-or-treaters, be sure to stop by the office to see Deb and Joanne for a special treat and take your best guess in our annual Candy in a Jar Guessing Contest!

And hereā€™s something NEW! Harbour Cheesecake will be rolling into Shore Acres Park from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., set up near the main office. With 11 mouth-watering flavours to choose from deciding on just one slice might be the hardest part! Remember to bring cash, and enjoy a delicious afternoon treatā€”or save a slice for dessert during the eveningā€™s entertainment.

At 6:30 p.m., the Canadian Raptor Conservancy returns to the large grassed area near the lake for an exciting live Birds of Prey presentation. Come see some of Canadaā€™s magnificent raptors up close, learn more about these incredible birds and donā€™t forget your lawn chairs and cameras. Weā€™ll also pass the hat, with proceeds supporting the Conservancyā€™s bird rehabilitation and breeding programs.

Costumes, candy, cheesecake and birds of prey... now THAT sounds like a Saturday at Shore Acres Park! We canā€™t wait to see our campers out enjoying all the fun.

Shore Acres Park Campers are invited to a day of toe-tapping, upbeat live music and family fun on Saturday, August 29 at the Port Dover Kinsmen Park, 95 Hamilton Plank Road in Port Dover. The music starts at 2 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m. with headliners Jesse Murphy Band and Killinā€™ Time Band. Admission is by donation, which will support the Kinsmen Splash Pad project. Bring your own lawn chairs.
