The lastest 5/5 review posted on Tripadvisor by one our guests. Thanks Ron.
Fantastic Amazing Experience
My wife and I returned to Cornerstones for a second visit following our wonderful time there two years ago. My wife wrote her review extolling the typical terrific attributes such as food, bed, cleanliness, etc. (all the things females like to write about). I want to add my voice to some other things which probably apply more to men than women.
E.g. most (even upscale) hotels/motels/BandB's have a grand total of zero overhead lights. The bedroom in Cornerstones rooms have not one, but two overhead lights. Most (again, even upscale) hotels/motels/BandB's) have hardly very few electrical outlets which is a major pain for people like me who have many devices (cell phones, smartwatches, smart rings, hearing aids, ear buds, laptops, CPAP, etc.). And frequently those outlets are either hidden behind a bed or are already halfway or totally occupied. Conserstones had one of those multioutlet devices on the desk which not only provided easy access to several more outlets, but also to multiple USB A and C outlets so that I didn't have to use one of the chargers I brought with me.
Also, there was an electrical outlet on each side of the bed which allowed me to use one of my own multi-outlet devices to plug in several devices on both sides of the bed withhout using even one of the MANY chargers I carry with me. Yay!!
I'm 82, 6"-2", somewhat overweight, with terrible balance so it was great to have one of those rubber pads which go in showers to prevent slipping.
The breakfasts were amazing. Naturally they tasted great, but I was also impressed with the versatility. There was sort of a suggested menu, but there were lots of options within the suggestions, sort of like fixed price dinner restaurants where you get choices within each category. When they noticed that my wife and I share all our foods, they provided additional cutlery and dishes to make it easier to share. Just wonderful.
Not only was the food delicious, but it was also gorgeous. Kathryn is an artist with food, making it not only tasty to eat, but a visual treat. I particularly liked how she made animal images out of the food items.
Annabelle was great to share breakfast conversation. She knows so much about so many things and loves to share her insights. E.g. my wife and I planned to have schnitzel at a restaurant we ate at during our previous visit. However, Annabelle suggested that we go to a different restaurant which makes the best eggplant parmiagina she has ever eaten. Needless to say, we took her suggestion and loved it!
I could go on and on, but life is calling me so I will end here.
