A multi-million dollar rebuild completed in 2005 finished the course started by Doug Carrick in 1990 and finished under new ownership and the supervision of Frank Russel in 2005. The new track officially opened in 2005 and just keeps getting better as it matures. The golf course is

becoming renowned for the best greens on the Central Island. They are guaranteed to be fast in the summer. Pheasant Glen and its members have been the proud hosts of Provincial and National Championships including:

2006 Men’s BCGA Mid-Amateur Championship

2007 Ladies BCGA Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championship

2008 Men's Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship

In 2006, while attending the BCGA Men’s Mid-Amateur at Pheasant Glen, the BCGA Executive Director declared 16, 17 and 18 “the three toughest finishing holes in British Columbia”. Just two players finished under par during the Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship in 2008. Are you up to the test?

Meet Kevin Bishop. Kevin’s passion for golf began right here at the Pheasant Glen Golf Academy, where he developed the skills and love for the game that would take him to a golf scholarship opportunity. After pursuing his golf journey, Kevin has returned to where it all started.

We’re proud to have played a small role in his development and are grateful for the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm he now brings back to the Pheasant Glen team. His story is a great example of what makes this place so special, growing the sport and welcoming people back home.

Coyote Bill's is a West Coast-inspired restaurant featuring a 100-seat dining room and 200-seat patio overlooking the golf course—creating an amazing event space for the community.
