🚫🐾 No Dogs on Qualicum Beach: March 1 – April 30 🐾🚫
To protect migrating Brant geese, dogs are not allowed on Qualicum Beach during this period. These geese rely on the beach for rest and feeding as they travel from California and Mexico to Alaska.
🐶 Where can dogs go?
Leashed dogs are allowed on the street-level waterfront walkway but not on the beach.
🚔 Enforcement:
Bylaw officers patrol the area, and violations may result in a $100 fine.
