πŸ‘‹ Hey campers! Happy and mushroom month!
Meet our Park Superintendent - Andrea, a huge mushroom loverπŸ„! She is in charge of both Restoule and Mikisew Provincial Park.
It’s Andrea's 25th season with Ontario Parks. She started her career at Quetico Provincial Park as a Junior Ranger and has been growing with the parks ever since.🏞️
Her favourite activity is finding and logging iNaturalist observations while hiking.πŸ₯ΎShe enjoys interacting with campers and mentoring staff.πŸ’¬
Whenever you have chance to bump into her at Restoule or Mikisew, don't hesitate to say hi!πŸ˜ƒShe's more than welcome to have a chat, especially when it comes to mushrooms and fungus!πŸ„β€πŸŸ«

Restoule Provincial Park continues to be without power due to storm damage to hydro lines. We are expecting to see power restored tomorrow (Monday September 8th).

Comfort stations remain open, but showers are unavailable.

Additionally, due to a downed power line, the road to access the Group Camping sites and the Day-Use Area remains closed. Access to these areas is still available via the road towards Stormy Lake by turning right at the stop sign.

Please continue to check back for updates.
