Bear Awareness Day feels pretty fitting around here. 🐻

We see bears often on the property, and moments like this are a good reminder that mountain living comes with responsibility too.

This young maskwa ᒪᐢᑲᐧ (bear) was spotted near the cabins recently - photographed from a safe distance using a zoom lens.
 Be bear aware: make noise on trails, carry bear spray, keep dogs leashed, secure food and garbage, and always give wildlife plenty of space.

This was their home first — we’re just lucky enough to share it.
