🌲 Riverside Forest Cleanup Progress Update

We’ve been busy in the woods at Riverside this week, and WOW… what a difference! 🌲🍂

The cleanup is coming along really well. We’re removing dead trees, fallen branches and years of forest debris, opening things up and letting the light and beauty of the property shine through.

And honestly, we think it’s looking even better with the fall colours starting to show. 🍁✨

There’s still work to do, but Mike, Joe and Val are working hard and making great progress, one tree, one branch and one little section of forest at a time.

A big thank you to you guys for all the hard work! ❤️ We really appreciate it.

We can’t wait to see and show you the finished result! 🌲✨

Now THAT’S an upgrade! 🙌

The old shed doors at Riverside had definitely seen better days… so Mike, Joe & Val from Crown Custom Carpentry gave them a much-needed makeover.

From tired and worn ➡️ to these beautiful custom doors! Plus, those paddle handles are the perfect Riverside touch! 🛶

It’s amazing what a difference one little project can make. Another improvement checked off the list at Riverside Retreat! ❤️ 🌊 🏡 🔨🪚

🍂 There’s Something Special About the River in the Fall

Picture this…

You step aboard as the day begins to cool. The river is calm, the shoreline is covered in fall colour, and there’s nowhere you need to be for the next two hours.

You settle into your seat, pull a soft blanket over your lap and gather around the warmth of the fire table. 🔥

The boat slowly cruises down the river while you laugh, talk and watch the scenery pass by. Maybe there’s a hot coffee in your hand. Maybe you’re celebrating something. Or maybe you simply wanted an evening together somewhere a little different.

As daylight begins to disappear, the glow from the fire takes over and the river becomes incredibly peaceful.

No rushing. No crowds. Just the people you came with, the warmth of the fire and a beautiful fall evening on the water.

Summer may be ending, but some of the most beautiful evenings on the river are just beginning.
