Over the weekend, we suffered a tremendous loss at Seafoam. It’s difficult to find the words to express just how much Brandon meant to everyone here. He was young, vibrant, and full of life, and everyone simply wanted more time with him.
His presence brought so much to the people around him, and his loss has left an emptiness that is difficult to put into words.
Brandon was a jokester, a prankster and at times he was, as one would say politically sarcastic. He loved his music and did he love to party with his Seafoam crew. You’d often find Brandon at the beach, amongst the gang, rocking his best playlist through his Bluetooth speaker. That same speaker would often be found wandering deck to deck then to the Rec Hall to cap off the night. He loved his Saturday afternoon washer toss games, accompanied by the odd b**r or two. No matter where you seen Brandon, it was guaranteed you’d see him smiling and laughing with that beaming, glowing grin he’s always had.
Brandon loved life. We all knew that. He loved his family and friends more than anything, and he never took the people and experiences in his life for granted.
He defied the odds throughout his life, and because of that, he cherished every moment, every experience, every memory, and most of all, the people he loved. But above everything else were his boys.
Brandon was an incredible father. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his boys, and nothing made him prouder than being their Dad. He gave them everything he had, always finding a way to be there for them—even in the moments when he wasn’t sure he had anything left to give.
Being their father was one of the greatest joys of his life, and the love he had for his boys was something you could see and feel in everything he did
Brandon’s life has certainly not been an easy one. I’m not sure many of us could have faced the challenges he had with the same positivity, courage, and humility that he always shown. Through everything, he continued to be a kind, caring and humble person. And boy is he going to be missed around the campground. His absence will always be felt.
As we all grieve Brandon’s loss, please keep his boys Jesse and Brett, their mother Nicole, his parents, his sisters and his family who are trying to navigate this new life with this immense loss.
Our Seafoam family is mourning, and our hearts are hurting. This loss feels so heavy, but we’re here for each other. We’ll support one another, help each other through, and take care of each other. That’s what Brandon would want.
