River of Ponds camp grounds are located on the Northern peninsula in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador near one of the premier salmon rivers in the area. We have 54 large private campsites. 15 of these have water and electricity hook ups (15, 30amp). Other services include convenience store, crafts, shower and laundry facilities, salmon/trout licenses, tanning bed, cold beer, Pay phone, Vi

ewing point over looking our beach, unsupervised swimming area, Wi-Fi internet access and close to a 1.5 km walking trail that follow the River of Ponds River. Other local attractions include, A 15 to 20 minute drive from the Torrent and Big East salmon Rivers, the Table Point Ecological Reserve which has fossils and rocks records that document changes to the continental shelf of an ancient ocean, and the town of Port au Choix which is home to a National Historic Site. We look forward to your visit.
