What better gift is there than a day on the water chasing giant Lake Winnipeg Greenbacks ?!

As summer officially gets underway, we’re excited to see families making memories together and enjoying everything this season has to offer. Whether it’s Dad, Grandpa, or the whole family, a fishing trip out of Hecla is an experience they’ll be talking about for years to come.

The timing couldn’t be better either. We’re right in the middle of peak walleye season, with triple-digit fish days being the norm! The lake is loaded with over-slot fish, and every time we drop the hook there’s a legitimate chance at connecting with a true Lake Winnipeg giant.

🎣 no licence is required for recreational fishing (excluding in federal parks)
🚗 no vehicle permit required to enter Manitoba Parks. Camping fees still apply.
