Hi I'm Evonne,

I would like to share with you a snapshot of our journey so far at Moon Gate Farms and invite you to come and stay with us, and experience nature in the middle of a forest.

We started this mission 9 years ago, purchasing this piece of land that had been neglected and disrespected for a long time. We spent the first 5 years only cleaning and removing thousands of items. The process was full of sweat, tears, and frustration. But throughout this process it has been the kindness, generosity, and side by side work of amazing friends and family that have pulled us through. Without these people we would not be here today. Our son Ryan and daughter-in-law Danielle, Helen, my father, Rosemary, Jen, Joanne, Julie, my nephew Skyler, my sister Astrid, and countless others who have inspired and given us the strength to continue. They helped us to stay on this journey, to build a place where people come to relax, reconnect with friends and family, re-charge from their city life, and restore their hearts with nature.

Our camping and glamping sites are all different and offer unique experiences. With the abundance of songbirds, deer, frogs, eagles we prefer to keep our campsite small so everyone can experience the sounds and peacefulness of the forest, respect the animals and their habitat, and protect the peace that only nature can provide.

Our seasonal vegetable gardens (June through September) offer our guests an opportunity to stroll through and pick herbs or vegetables that they can include with their camp meals.
