✨ If you've stayed with us recently, chances are you've met Josh and Carter!

Last night, we celebrated our incredible volunteers with a farewell dinner. 🎉

As they head off on their next adventures, we want to thank them for everything they've done during one of our busiest months of the year. From keeping the lodge spotless, yard work and painting projects while working together as an amazing team. They made every guest feel welcome and went above and beyond every single day.

Their hard work, positive attitudes, and dedication made a real difference, and we truly couldn't have gotten through July without them.

🙏 Thank you, Josh and Carter, for an extraordinary job. We appreciate you both more than you know and we can't wait to see where life takes you next. You'll always be welcome back at Up The Creek!

🌿 Volunteer Opportunity – Roberts Creek, BC 🌿

We're looking for a volunteer to join us at Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge for the month of August, starting August 1.

Unfortunately, our scheduled volunteer had to cancel, so we're hoping to find someone who'd love to spend a month on BC's beautiful Sunshine Coast.
In exchange for approximately 20 hours of work per week, you'll receive:

🏡 Accommodation in our private caravan on the property
✨ Full access to the lodge facilities
🌲 Forest trails in walking distance
🏖️ Beach just a 10-minute walk away
🚌 Walking distance to the bus route
⛴️ Only a 40-minute ferry ride from Vancouver
📅 Two days off each week

We're looking for someone reliable, friendly, and happy to help with the day-to-day operation of a welcoming backpacker's lodge.

What a weekend! 🎶🌿☮️

We had a full house at Up The Creek as guests gathered for the Sunshine Shakedown Music Festival at Roberts Creek Hall.

It was a weekend filled with great music, old friends reconnecting, new friendships being made, and an incredible community spirit.

Thanks to everyone who stayed with us. We hope you had as much fun as we did, we can't wait to welcome you back next year!

We just had a few beds open up in our dorm room for tonight! You can't beat $40 for a stay on the sunshine coast. Only a 40 min ferry ride from horseshoe bay. Incredible weather right now🌞🌞🌞
